contact form.Is it Free to join?
We have designed our website so you can try lots of things for free. You can
register
a profile (without having to enter any payment card details), have a look around
and even get in touch with members by sending waves. If you feel our website is
for you and want to take the next step you can get one of our
paid options or if
not it's easy to remove your profile at any time.
What can I do as a free member?
The basic option is free and is designed to give you a feel of what’s on offer.
As a basic member you’ll be able to create a profile, search and view everyone that’s
on the website and even send and receive waves. You'll also be able to read and
reply to messages from Premium members and use the Lovephool quiz to find out your
personality type all for free.
What can I do as a Paying member?
We have two paid options; Plus and Premium. The
Plus option is for those ready to
start interacting in more depth with our members and are looking to get discounted
event tickets. For those looking to get serious about meeting the love of your life
then we’d recommend the

Why is your service not free?
Having a paid service is an important aspect of our product as it ensures that only
the genuine people looking to find love will ever contact you, whilst it allows
us to give you a great customer and technical support.
How much does it cost?

How can I change my email address or password?
Very simply! All you need to do is login to your account, go to account settings
(found under membership details) and from here you will be able to change your password
/ email address.
How can I retrieve my password?
Simply go the forgotten password page and enter the email address you registered
with on the site and you will be sent instructions on how to get reset your password.
Can I cancel my membership at anytime?
Yes you can cancel your membership at any time regardless of whether your free or
paid. Upon cancelling all your information will be removed from the website and
you will no longer be able to login. Note that if you’re a paying member we will
not be able to refund you for the remainder of your membership (so be sure that
you want to cancel).
How can I get more responses?
Very easily; make sure you have a good quality photo (more than one also helps).
Make sure all your profile information is completed to a good standard of grammer,
always be polite , courteous and keep conversations friendly and light hearted.
Don’t go for quantity, rather look at quality and never attempt to offer your personal
contact details (or requests theirs) in your first few messages. For more information

My Profile
How do I create a profile?
Very easily! Go to our homepage and select the "sign-up" option. This will start the registration process off. You can fill in as much information as you wish at any time and you can also return to complete your profile at any time. Once done, your profile will go out our vetting team who will make sure the details meet our quality standards and terms before it goes live on the site.
How do I edit my profile?
Login to your account and click the edit profile link in your My Home section. This will take you to your profile and from here you will be able to make changes. Don’t forget all updates will go to our vetting team first who will check them to make sure they meet our quality requirements.
How can I hide my profile?
Very simply! All you need to do is login to your account, go to account settings and from here you will be able to hide your profile. Hiding your profile will ensure that no one is able to find you on the website. You can make it visible from the same place at a later stage.
I've made some updates - how long will it take before they get approved?
Generally profile updates take anywhere between 15min – 2 hours to approve. On some occasions it can take longer so give it at least 24 hours before contacting us about pending updates (especially on weekends). If your profile information has been approved but and you’re not able to view these changes simply hold down the Ctrl & F5 keys on your keyboard at the same time – this should update your profile information within your browser.
Photos
Why should I include a photo?
By adding a picture to your profile you will vastly increase your chances of finding other daters. Statistics from our website and others show that you are 10 times more likely to get a response to your profile if you have a picture of yourself uploaded against it. Furthermore profiles with photos will automatically come up first on searches and when you email other users you are guaranteed to receive more responses. When you add a picture make sure you are smiling, it’s a small way to make a huge difference. Make sure the image quality is good, ensure it’s a recent picture and not too small.

Who can view my photo?
Your photo will only be visible to members on the website (only exception to this is if your picture is shown on the Homepage or within the first 30 profiles of any particular search).
How do I add a photo to my profile?
You can add a photo in the first instance during the profile registration process or at a later stage by going to your "My Home" section of the website and selecting edit photos under your profile picture.
You keep rejecting my photo - why?
We have quite a stringent policy when it comes to pictures because by doing so it improves the service for all. Therefore, you need to make sure the image you upload is a good quality image where you’re clearly visible. If you’ve taken it with a mobile phone via a mirror it will most likely be rejected; if you’re standing too far away it will most likely be rejected; if it’s too dark or bright it will most likely be rejected… See our photo guide for more information.

How much does it cost?
Prices start from as little as £8.49 per month.
Will you auto renew my account once my membership has finished?
If you select the automated payments then you will be billed each cycle of the membership. However, if you select one-off payments you will only be billed once. You can stop your automated payments at any time.
Are there any other costs?
Absolutely none.
Will you send anything to my address?
Nothing will ever be sent to your address; all correspondence is done via email. We only ever take your address details when you’re purchasing membership and this is purely to verify yourself as the cardholder.
What is your refund policy?
All payments are non-refundable.

What is Lovephool and how does it work?

The Message Booster allows Free basic members to read and reply to your messages.
What is iDcheck and how does it work?
IDcheck is a free service that Plus and Premium members can add to their account. Getting an iDcheck will give members a little more confidence to know that you are who you say you are. All you will need to do is give us some basic information about you which we will use to confirm your identity. Once approved, you will receive an ID badge on your profile giving others a little extra confidence in getting to know you.
What is Event Pass and how does it work?
The Event Pass is an Extra that a Plus member and Premium members have added to their account. With our event pass you will be able to attend speed dating, mingling events and padlock parties at a discounted rate. (10% discount for Plus members and 20% discount for Premium members).
What is Profile Highlight and how does it work?
The
Profile Highlight is an Extra that a Plus member can add to their account. If you want to ensure that you receive more waves and messages then this is the extra for you. Having your profile highlighted amongst our top picks ensures that you will appear at the very top of the page for each and every search.

Security
How can I stop another member from contacting me?
If you want to stop another member from contacting you all you need to do is click on their profile and click them block User tab located in the top right hand corner. Don’t worry, the member you block will never know that you’ve blocked them.
How do I report member abuse?
We take any type of abuse extremely seriously; if you feel you need to report a member to us then you can either click on the “Report this user” link located in the top right hand corner or
contact us.
Do you store all messages and Instant chat conversations?
We store all conversations including messages / instant message transcripts for a limited period of time. We do this in case we ever need to investigate any type of misuse on our website.
Are my personal details safe and secure?
Yes. All your information is kept on a dedicated server and is encrypted.
Events
What is a speed dating?
Speed dating is a fun way of meeting lots of new people in one evening. Each person will have a series of 3 minute “dates”, where you can meet other like minded Asian singles, and get to know them a little.
How does speed dating work?
- Once the bell/whistle goes you will have a 3 minute “date” with the person in front of you. On the back of your matching card you will find some great tips and advice on which questions to ask.
- If by the end of the 3 minutes you feel things went well, then you have the choice of ticking “Yes” or “Maybe” on your dating card (don’t worry all attendees will be asked to mark their cards discreetly).
- The guys will then move onto the next 3 minute “date” whilst the ladies remain seated.
- We will generally take a short break half way through the event, so you can grab a refreshment
- At the end of the event one of our lovely team members will come around and collect your matching cards.
- Our co-workers will use the details from your matching cards to let you know if you had any matches. You will receive an email from us 24-48 hours after the event which will have instructions on how to view your matches online.
What is a padlock party?
Our padlock events are a little less structured than speed dating events and are for those that enjoy the freedom to talk to other singles in their own time. It's a fun and casual way of meeting around 150 singles in one evening.
How does a padlock party work?
Once you have arrived at the Padlock party, you will be greeted by our events co-workers, who will talk you through registration. The ladies will receive a padlock and the guys will be given a key and you will be told how it all works. You can then get a drink at a bar or start mingling with other guests!
Once the event finishes we have a great after party (which is sometimes themed) playing an awesome mix of music where you can have a little dance with anyone you’ve connected with. There are quieter areas available too in case you prefer to talk and get to know someone from the padlock event.
How can I buy an event ticket?
Very easily; simply select the event you want to attend from our events page, select the tickets you require and click on the checkout link. If you are a new member you will need to register an account with us, if you are an existing customer you just need to use your existing login details. We will then ask you to enter details on to a guest list, but this is optional and finally we take your payment details.
I am new to AsianD8 what happens when I buy my event ticket?
Once you have purchased a ticket we automatically create a profile for you within AsianD8 allowing you to connect with 1000’s of members.
Where can I print my tickets?
When you purchase your ticket you are able to print your e-ticket at this step and we also automatically email you your order confirmation. You can also print tickets from your account, if you go to your settings cog there is a link to My Ticket Purchases, here you can print your e-tickets.
Can I add myself to a waiting list for an event?
Yes, if an event has sold out you are able to add yourself to its waiting list. If tickets become available we will email you.
How long does it take to receive my event matches?
Generally it takes 24 hours for you to receive your matches, unless an event has taken place on the weekend, in which case it can take up to 48 hours.
Where can I find my event matches?
You are able to access your matches from your account from the settings cog. Here you will find a link Events I’ve Attended which will list your event matches.
What happens if I can’t attend an event?
Please notify us if you are unable to attend, this allows us to offer tickets to others who would like to attend. Event tickets are non-refundable. Please also note tickets are non - transferable post event.
I am a Plus/Premium member where is my event pass discount applied?
You discount will be automatically applied upon checkout.
