Focus on the long term mission
We feel that within the online relationships market our competitors (big and small)
only aim to grow their website subscriptions, whereby we are more interested in
bringing people together.
Creating love stories and helping people find love is AsianD8’s long term goal,
we want to be the best at it, whilst operating our business in a healthy way to
allow us to keep re-investing.
Finding someone love through our network is not taken lightly as we know that it
may be the biggest single impact on a person’s life. Therefore we feel an overwhelming
sense of responsibility on behalf of our customers because we may be responsible
for a big portion of starting them off on a new part of their future journey.
Pursuing short term gains at the expense of our longer term objectives is of no
interest to us. We feel that short term wins only deliver short term happiness and
as much as looking at our operations on a daily basis is important, what’s more
important is that all our short term steps are taking us inch by inch closer towards
achieving our long term mission.
Aiming long term takes a lot of belief and courage because sometimes what you are
working on may not always bring you immediate results. Therefore you have to believe
in your long term plan and strategy and most of all have patience.
We feel that achieving a long term aim or even purpose, provides longer lasting
happiness for everyone and helps you not just win in work, but in life too.
